Walk Softly and Carefully

Thankfully so far this winter has not been anything like the last winter from HELL! You never know what can happen, so I just want to remind everybody:

Please continue to walk with care and watch your steps. Unfortunately I know a patient who stepped out of his car, a little ice patch was right below, and he slipped and tore a ligament in his knee. So please when getting in and out of the cars- be careful, have sound footing and pay attention. When you walk out of your homes, check the sidewalk to make sure that it is not iced up.

I can't tell you how many patients I've seen over the years that have hurt themselves from winter weather and needed either my care, emergency care, or orthopedic care from injuries.

So, please walk softly and carefully.

Yours in good health,

Dr. Ray and Staff

On to 2015....

2014 saw much change, good times, and chiropractic love spread throughout Resnick Chiropractic. We love our new office and are overwhelmed with the response from patients, family, and friends. Thank you to all that have helped us transition this year. We look forward to 2015 and can't wait to continue our practice and move forward with chiropractic care for Chester County. Have a happy and a healthy New Year and we will see you in the office in 2015!

Yours in good health,

Dr. Ray and Staff

If You're Wrapping, Heed These Words...

I'm not trying to be funny (though I can be a funny guy) and I'm not trying to be silly (but my kids always tell me I'm ridiculously silly), BUT…

Always remember and never forget that sitting on the floor while wrapping your holiday gifts is really tough and not nice to your spine- especially your low back. Over the years I remind everybody to wrap the gifts sitting at a table with correct posture. I know it sounds funny but I have seen a bunch of patients over the years right after the holidays complaining and kvetching about increased spinal pain because they sat on the floor for hours and forgot to listen to the words of wisdom from Doctor Ray.

The season has its own stresses to begin with, why add to them by not treating your body healthfully.

I know its fun sitting on the floor with the kids wrapping the gifts near the tree or Hanukkah bush, but please heed these words.

Have a joyous holiday season and give extra hugs to all of your loved ones.

Yours in good health,

Dr. Ray and Staff

Thanks for the Memories...

It is unbelievable to me when I think of how I have been delivering chiropractic care to Chester County for going on 25 years. The time has gone by so quickly and it really has been a privilege to take care of all of you this past almost quarter century.

I am thankful for you all to have allowed me to, through chiropractic, help you and raise the quality of your lives. For that truly is what chiropractic is all about. Assisting the body in its natural desire to heal itself is my number one goal. Having the body work properly and allow all humans to live the lives they have imagined is also what fulfills me.

Once again, thanks a-bunch. Please have a glorious Thanksgiving holiday with your loved ones, drive carefully wherever you are going, and always remember and never forget that Dr. Ray is here to help.

Happy Turkey Day!

Yours in good health,

Dr. Ray and Staff

Extremely Important Extremity Info...

Just wanted to restate the obvious although many of us don't realize how important spinal health is to the function of our arms and legs. Their are times when certain problems in the arms and legs have to do with a circulatory deficiency or a blood sugar problem or some physiological dysfunction.

Fortunately, the major percentage of the time when people complain of arm or leg problems is absolutely due to spinal involvement. This is because the spinal nerves begin at the vertebrae and branch off into the arms and legs among other areas.

Therefore I want to remind ya'll if you are having tingling, numbness, or weakness in your arms, legs, hands, or feet the most conservative place to start and common place to help would be calling your local chiropractor.

Speak to you before Thanksgiving!

Yours in good health,

Dr. Ray and Staff
