The Summer Begins

Stress is rarely the cause of a condition in the human body, but frequently a contributing factor to many dysfunctions among us. Getting adjusted during stressful times is an incredibly productive thing to do for the human body- by helping our nervous system and the mechanics of our spinal column.

The increased stress I want you all to focus on is: OUR KIDS. Between caring for them at the ocean, watching over them at amusement parks, making sure you lock the fences around your residential pools, and keeping a special eye on them when you go to local water parks. I don't want any of you to have any tragedy- life is tough enough.

So please heed these words- Dr. Ray loves you all and is here for you anytime!!!

Enjoy the summer solstice...

Yours in good health,

Make Memorial Weekend Full of Nice Memories

Dr. Ray and staff want to extend to ya'll a joyous and fun filled Memorial Day weekend. We all hope that you, your friends, and family have a weekend full of good times and frolic.

Of course, Dr. Ray is always concerned about your health and well being so please do us a favor:

-Get that Sunscreen on consistently and plentiful
-If you venture into the ocean, be smart, watch the undertow, and always swim with other people present
-Boogie boarding and jet skiing is way fun, but you can get hurt so be careful when partaking
-Lots of crazies on the road so drive carefully and buckle up

Let's all stop for a moment and thank those who gave their lives for our freedom.

God Bless you and have a safe holiday...

TO REITERATE

Hope your spring is going well, although it has been a little brisk in Chester County. So to review, lets talk:
From our everyday activities-bending, lifting, twisting, turning, breathing, belching, fooling around, etc.-our joints take a pounding. Our discs between our vertebrae are absorbing all of these forces; so its time to GET ADJUSTED
We are planting and mulching, mowing and raking, re-planting and pruning. How much can our body take? IT'S TIME TO GET ADJUSTED.
We are picking up our kids, vacuuming, schlepping, being weekend warriors, driving more in nicer weather, siting at our jobs all day; IT'S TIME TO GET ADJUSTED.
So, whether your writhing in pain or a little achy and stiff from all of the above...IT'S TIME TO GET ADJUSTED.

Give us a call, we will see you soon!

Yours in good health,

Dr. Ray and Staff

Thank the Lord Spring is Here

I know we lucked out around here and received minimal snow flakes; and I also realize that it wasn't massively frigid around here this winter. I don't know why I feel like this was the longest, coldest, dreariest winter in my life! So, hooray for spring...

The word for spring is- MODERATION. When you first venture into your home gardens- MODERATION. When your replacing your annuals- MODERATION. If your going to mulch, mulch with- MODERATION.

In other words, be nice to your bones, be nice to your joints, be nice to your disks- they will all serve you well if you don't abuse them. So...MODERATION.

Please come in and get your spine adjusted so you can get some SPRING BACK INTO YOUR SPINE!

Yours in good health,
Dr. Resnick and Staff

SO FAR, SO GOOD...

Hope everybody is doing well and enjoying our non-snow, cold winter.
That reminds me to remind ya'll that if we do (and I really hope we don't) get a decent amount of snowfall with inches, please remember;..
1. Be conscious of proper lifting techniques- bend the legs and knees so it is easier on your lower back
2. Please listen to your body and when you feel fatigue take a rest
3. For the senior citizens out there, try your best to hire someone or get some other party to do the snow removal for you. It really is very heavy work for the body, heart, and spine.
4. If you own a back brace, for protection put the back brace on while shoveling snow- it will increase support.
5. When fixing your clogged snow blower, make sure it is off and you bend with the knees to get residual snow out from the machine.

Just some safety tips from the Doc. Hope that spring is around the corner. Stay safe...

Yours in good health,

Dr. Ray and Staff

Here's to 2013!!!

I assume most of you survived the holidays. It is amazing how stressful they can be in the midst of the joy of family, friends, and blessings. Lets not deal with resolutions, lets just deal with thinking positive thoughts and doing helpful things to keep our bodies functioning at a high level.
So, always remember and never forget:
1- Eat breakfast everyday
2- Get your blood work done if you have out of date information
3- If you are turning 50 this year, sign up for a Colonoscopy
4- Get your teeth cleaned once a year, better twice
5- Listen to your wife
6- Keep loving your children
7- Get adjusted from time to time
8- Have an apple a day!

Dr. Ray and staff are here for you always. Please never forget that...

Have a wonderful new year and GO PHILLIES!

Yours in good health,

Dr. Ray and Staff

A Joyous Holiday Season To All

As usual, Dr. Ray is here to give you some tid-bits to make sure that your holiday season includes a minimal amount of spinal distress and agida.. So here we go:

1. When your doing "marathon wrapping" don't sit on the floor PLEASE; sit at a table on a nice chair. That's the way to wrap!
2. While making your Christmas cookies and other holiday treats, please keep changing your position. Don't just stand bent forward working on your baking. The constant flexed forward position over many hours can really create unnecessary discomfort so beware PLEASE.
3. During your shlepping of your Christmas tree and/or Hanukkah bush, PLEASE make sure to lift properly and distribute the weight correctly. I don't want you to pull your back out while your decorating your tree. Of course if you don't listen to me and you need me, I'll be there for you because Dr. Ray and staff are always there for you.

Have a joyous and peaceful Holiday and lets all send an extra prayer to our fellow human beings up in Connecticut- they need all the prayers they can get.

God bless.

Yours in good health,

Dr. Ray and Staff
