It's Time to Come In...
Over the years of having the pleasure to give chiropractic care, I have met many people who finally found their way to the office after living with certain conditions that they have had for years. Many things prevent people from coming in including "I didn't think anything could help, I was told I needed to live with the problem, I take medication for daily pain so why go to a chiropractor" on top of a lack of knowledge of chiropractic care.

I have heard that phrase many, many times over the years whether you or a family member/friend/co-worker that may have a chronic issue-please don't hesitate to call or email the office so we can have the pleasure of attempting to change your life!!!
Hope everyone's summer is going well. Please be safe out there.
Yours in good health,
Dr. Ray and Staff

Minimize your Shlepping...
Unfortunately the statistics show that 90% of human beings are going to have some degree of spinal issues. Fortunately most spinal problems are not caused by unusual causes. Fortunately, and this has been true since humans have wandered on the earth-the truth is that most spinal issues are caused by every day shlepping, walking, dragging items around, more shlepping, bending, lifting, even more shlepping etc. etc. The repetition of all of these movements create neuro-muscular skeletal dysfunction. That is why chiropractic for the most part is so successful-it addresses the cause of our spinal issues.
Most of the shlepping that we do is unavoidable so therefore try your best too;
1-Lift properly-bend your knees
2-Watch the ergonomics at your work station
3-Change your position often while at your desk
4-Do stretching consistently while also exersising
5-Eat as healthy as you can
These are some things that if done consistently will increase the odds of you not having severe issues with your neuro-muscular skeletal system.
As usual, we are here in the office for you and to answer any questions that you may have. Please don't hesitate to call anytime. Always remember and never forget "Keep the shlepping to a reasonable amount."

Get it Checked!!!
Recently one of the Philadelphia 76ers was diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. This is a condition when ones arm may be weak or tingling or numb while not working properly as well which can be due to nerves that are being irritated in front of the shoulder underneath our chest muscles and other muscles. Fortunately, with good therapy and treatment odds are he will be much improved. We certainly all wish the best for him.
You never know when your feeling something whether its in fact an issue or maybe nothing at all. My best advice is to have it checked so you can rule out if its something. Being properly informed, taking action and being proactive are all ways to stay ahead of the game. Because again, you just never know...
Really want to wish everyone a joyous holiday season. Be safe, enjoy your loved ones and have a Happy Holidays.
Yours in good health,
Dr. Ray and Staff
