Forever "Not So" Young
I direct the following words of wisdom to my children's generation. My son is 26 and my daughter is 23. They are referred to as the Millennials or Generation Y (Why Generation Y- I have no idea). It is not my intention to bum you guys out but it is my responsibility to remind all you Millennials that between time, gravity, and repetition of our daily lives- your bodies will eventually start to "talk back to you."
I just want to send this out to the Generation Y-ers to raise your consciousness about preventative thinking for your bodies. Make sure you do a decent amount of stretching before you work out hard. If you do hurt yourself, get yourself checked out to make sure nothing is really wrong. Don't wait until you have spinal issues, give your chiropractor a call to get checked out- get your posture checked. Make sure you are eating a varied nutritional diet.
I totally understand these are things that you guys wouldn't think about because your young still. When you get to be in your 30's, the body starts to change and I want you guys to be ready for that.
Please don't hesitate to call. We could talk about this and I could give you exercise and postural stretches to do. Learn about chiropractic and adjustments even if you are feeling ok.
These are important things and it is my responsibility to remind you about this as I do with my own children.
Continue to have a wonderful and safe summer.
Yours in good health,
Dr. Ray and Staff

Keep Safe During the Summer
With all the summer activities comes potential injuries, so just a short shout out to everyone to please take care of yourself and your loved ones when your out and about: swimming, doing ocean activities, and everything else that can hurt us.
Always remember and never forget a little forethought and some common sense can really help in preventing some mishaps.
So go forth and enjoy your summer!

CH-CH-CH-CH Changes!
Changing has always been difficult for most human beings, even when we know it is the right thing to do. I want to reiterate my big change that I have done recently which is a combination of moving my office (within Exton) and downsizing a bit also. It feels good to be all comfy and cozy in my new place. Please come in and say hello, I would enjoy that!
Here are some ch-changes I recommend for y'all:
1- If you are taking too much daily medication for your chronic symptoms, it's time to change.
2- If your not listening to your body from your "weekend warrior abuse", it's time to change.
3- If your doing outside house chores for too many hours and not spreading out the work, it's time to change.
4- If your not hugging and kissing your spouse and children enough, it's time to change.
I'm thrilled to still be in Exton, PA and blessed to continue to give you wonderful chiropractic care.
Thanks again!
Yours in good health,
Dr. Ray and Staff

Headaches and Chiro
One of the most frustrating aspects of being a chiropractor is so many people don't realize how much it can change their lives for the better!!!
A prime example of this is chiropractic and headaches. There are literally millions of people that suffer with headaches for most of their lives and normal medical approach does nothing to eradicate the cause of the headaches.
Most people will take some form of medication to help lessen a headache but not to assist in getting to the cause!!!
Our first vertebrae is located just below the base of the skull. The combination of using our arms a million times a day/turing our heads in all directions a millions times a day/and the neck muscles coustonatly supporting our skull creates this massive combination of neuromuscular skeletal dysfunction that is by far the most COMMON CAUSE FOR OUR HEADACHE PROBLEMS.
I implore you all if you have headache problems or if you know a friend/family/worker that does, you must tell them to call the office so we can have a chance to change their lives. Getting adjusted, learning about posture, and watching ergonomics will all change the function of our body and help immeasurably with our headaches. (The headaches you may get from your husband/wife/kids- Sorry, I can't help you with that!)
Have a great Easter and Passover...
Yours in good health,
Dr. Ray and Staff
PS- Don't forget, your kids have little spines also. Make sure they bend their knees properly to pick up all of those Easter Eggs!

FINALLY...THE SNOW HAS MELTED!
I finally had a chance to look at my property around my house post the ridiculous ice storm of 2014. It is incredible how much debris is strewn about. Now comes the cleanup (which I am not looking forward too).
So, I just want to communicate to everyone how important it is to be careful when you are dealing with your property and all the work that goes into it. Please lift properly with your legs, if you do use a chainsaw to cut down falling trees be extra careful (I am scared to use a chainsaw), and please evaluate properly: if you can drag some things fine, but if it is too heavy please seek help.
Everybody has more then usual cleanup to do, I just want you all to be careful. If you have questions about anything, don't hesitate to give the office a call. I am here for you all the time.
Yours in good health,
Dr. Ray and Staff
