Always remember, Never forget

Is it really Memorial Day 2015 approaching or am I dreaming? Well, it really is here and it makes me think of the meaning of the holiday. There is no question that many of us take for granted what this holiday stands for- which is being appreciative and thanking those who allowed us to live with the freedoms in this country that we have. The blessings that we have and the freedoms that govern this country are due to the sacrifices of the men and women that fought the wars to give us the great country we live in today and all the wonderful things that are awarded to us.

This mentality is something that we overlook and it makes me think of how much we all take for granted how our bodies continue to work- the heart beats, the cells replicate, the brain continues to function, and we move forward in this constant "Homeostasis." Meaning- we go about our daily lives and for most of us thankfully our bodies function on a very high level without us even thinking about it.

So I am asking all of you to always remember and never forget to count your blessings, appreciate those that serve and have served our country, and appreciate the innate wisdom that serves our bodies to keep us moving forward and to live the lives that we have imagined.

Happy Memorial Day!

Yours in good health,

Dr. Ray and Staff

You Just Never Know...

I just recently heard the news about the fire in Downingtown, PA that is just a few minutes from my home. We all certainly pray that no one was hurt and that all of the businesses return to being open as soon as possible.

In this crazy life of ours you just never know when bad will happen or tragedy will strike or even bad health will occur. That is why it's so important to enjoy and be grateful for each day. To relate this to getting adjusted you can feel fine and not have any outward problems but you just never know when your spine or your disks or your muscles or your joints will "freak out" and start talking to you.

So I urge all of you to be proactive with your health on all levels and certainly with your neuromuscular skeletal system. Get in and get checked, because you just never know...

Again, lets all send our love and thoughts out to the businesses and people that were affected by the Downingtown fire.

Yours in good health,

Dr. Ray and Staff
