I hope this year begins with employment for most of you reading this blog, that's my economic prayer to you all. That being said, sitting at a computer for most of the day is not uncommon. So lets review:
-Sit down, push your tush to the back of the chair
-Get those shoulders up straight, get the head back so your ear lobes are over your shoulders
-Get your elbows next to your sides, get your forearms parallel to the floor
-Get a nice comfy mouse so your hand is level with your wrist
-Get a nice comfy mouse so your hand is level with your wrist
-Finally, make sure the monitor is right in front of you or a few inches at either side of your face
If you follow these instructions, your body will take less of a hit from all the sitting at the computer. Always remember and never forget, that structure effects function!
Yours in good health,
Dr. Ray and Staff
