Celebrating Your Independence

First lets wish you all a safe and enjoyable 4th of July for everyone and their families. Don't forget to put on enough sunscreen and please be diligent with watching the little kids at the beach and the pool. With independence, comes responsibilities. Dr. Ray wants to remind everyone to accept their responsibilities to live healthy lifestyles and be timely with your preventative health care. So, see your dentist at least once a year, have your mammograms done timely, have your OB checkups done when due, check those prostates and p.s.a., go for a colonoscopy if its time for it, and DON'T WAIT FOR YOUR SPINE TO BLOW! Get in for preventative chiro-care. Again, have a great 4th and remember: if you have a 5th on the 4th, you may not be able to go fourth on the fifth...

Note- Please check our office Facebook for our new summer hours as they are in effect July 5th-August 31st 2011!

It's April, sooooo...

...So yippee! Our college kids are coming home. Please be careful when you empty out their apartments at school or houses. Make sure to lift properly whatever the weight!!! Bend with the knees and keep your back as straight as you can while lifting those mega-heavy organic chemistry books, or whichever. Try your best to delegate so you don't bare the brunt of the college exodus. Not a bad idea to get into the office for an adjustment before you shlepp up to college. Tell your college children to give the office a call since they could use chiropractic care after they abused their bodies this past year at school. HAPPY GRADUATION TO ALL!

Sincerely,

Dr. Ray and Staff

Lets all say goodbye to the Winter of 2011, Hip Hip Horray!

I trust you all survived with minimal or no damage to your homes and some residual but not bad stiff backs from this winter of our discontent. So just a little precaution: continue to do some extra stretching, get adjusted, use some moist heat on your body to get rid of the "snow stiffness," and please with spring cleaning impending, do it smartly and with moderation. Always remember and never forget to treat your spine with love.

Friendly Immune System Tips from Dr. Ray

Some tips from Dr. Ray to keep you going during this winter from "you know where!":
- If your really sick stay home so you don't give your germs to everyone else
- If you sneeze, sneeze into your arm not your hand since the hand is one of the dirties parts of the body to begin with
- Arguably the biggest help to stay healthy: WASH YOUR HANDS  more than you normally do
- Last, it wouldn't hurt to take a couple of extra Vitamin C's daily

Stay healthy my friends,
Dr. Ray and staff
