Blogging's a Blast!!!

Just a short communique to thank ya'll for spending your time and reading the incredible intellectual, informative, and sometimes silly information that we try to convey to you.

We have been blogging for the last few years and the response has been quite gratifying and satisfying. A huge part of being a good doctor is educating, taking the time out to explain things so patients learn about their bodies and pass that on to their family, friends, and co-workers.

Blogging allows us to send out information in a brief yet impactful way and of course I always try to put a smile on our readers faces.

I would also like to take the time to thank my son Alan who is my social media guru and helps with all of our blogging/Facebook/etc. etc. He is doing a great job and he is a heck of a guy.

Always remember and never forget that we are always here for you to help, to answer questions, to direct you where you need to go for your health needs, and to be helpful in any other way.

Make the last few weeks of your Summer (unbelievable to say that!) fun filled and joyful.

Yours in good health,

Dr. Ray and Staff

Grandma is Visiting Again...

So, Grandma (my mother) is visiting us again in glorious Chester County. As I told you in an earlier blog from this year, she turned 90 in April. It takes her roughly a half hour to walk from our kitchen to the TV room. It takes her about 10-15 tries to get up from sitting on the dining room chairs. When she watches TV, you can hear it from across the street (when she leaves all our ears ring for days). I have to repeat myself so often I get bi-lateral TMJ pain that lasts for days.

Please don't take this the wrong way- of course I feel blessed she is here. However, when I observe her it is just amazing to think of all the organs and muscles and bones that have been working so hard lo these many years. An incredible testament to the durability of the human frame.

I implore you all don't take for granted your frame. Do the things you need to do to help it along. I don't want it to take you guys 45 minutes to walk from the kitchen to the TV area to watch TV (although that is not such a horrible thing).

Stretch, exercise, get adjusted, watch your posture, and be healthy. If you do all those things then you can help your body deal with living on earth.

Here is to all the GRANDMA'S out there. God Bless Them All!

Yours in good health,

Dr. Ray and Staff
